AUGUST MESSAGE

Brothers,

Welcome to August and a still hot, Florida summer

Our Worthy Secretary position will, again, be open as of August 1, 2010. After serving in the position for six weeks, Ken Gerry recently resigned due to work constraints. I am sorry to see him leave so soon after taking the position, but work is work!

As of August 1, 2010 we will need a new secretary to pay the bills and record the meeting minutes. There are several other aspects, too lengthy to mention in this message. Ken and Mark will certainly help train the new Secretary.

We need a member to volunteer for this position so training can start for the position.

Please contact me by phone 772-559-1379, email bfpjk1@bellsouth.net or speak with me at the club.

Our first building improvement endeavor will be the ladies room and men’s room. This work, and other small projects, have started in the shop and will finish as soon as I have more time available to donate. Hopefully, by mid-August, both restrooms should be complete.

Our joint meetings continue to be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. This is an open meeting for all members. If you want a voice in planning, this is the meeting to attend. We still have a few committee chair positions open for those that may be interested.

Our District meeting will be held at Indian Harbor Lagoon Aerie, August 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm. This is a long drive so you may want to carpool. Please attend to keep us in rotation and support your Aerie.

Until next month, stop by the Aerie and let our volunteers know you appreciate their service and hard work as much as I appreciate it!

See you at the Eagles!

John P. Kaufman

Worthy President

                                                                JUNE MESSAGE

Brothers,

Welcome to June and my first newsletter of my third consecutive term as your Worthy President. Thank you all for having that confidence in me!

Thank you to all the Officers who stepped up to take an office this year. Many of those members are coming back for their third straight year as an Aerie Officer – that’s dedication! Thank you does not say enough!

I would also like to welcome back Nancy Scott, our Madame President, for her second term. We work together so well, it’s not work.

This year, we have all our positions filled with the exception of Worthy Secretary and Worthy Chaplin. If you are interested in either of these positions, please see me for details.

We must fill the Secretary’s position ASAP. This is not an option. If this position is not filled, the Grand Aerie can revoke our Charter, closing the Aerie. Our current Secretary, Mark Wohlforth, will serve until May 31, 2010. On June 1, 2010, the position will be vacated and we are in danger of losing our Charter.

I hope we have one of our 226 members that will step up to accept this position for the upcoming year. It is the only paid position in the club, based on membership. It requires an average, over the year, of four hours a week, basic computer skills and basic check book skills. I filled in last fall, when Van fell ill, and did not find the position to tax my time constraints. I have been Mark’s assistant for his term and will remain as the new secretary’s assistant, further reducing the work load.

If you care about the club, this is the time to help us find a secretary!

Our installation party was a great success. Thank you to everyone that helped Nancy and I put it together – mostly Nancy.

We have accomplished many improvements over the last few months to help make our Aerie home a safe, enjoyable place to visit. We will accomplish even more in the upcoming year. After seventeen years of service, we recently replacing the refrigeration units for the walk-in cooler. Our first building improvement endeavor will be the ladies room and men’s room. The Auxiliary has donated the funds to completely remodel the women’s restroom and the Aerie has made the funds available for the men’s room. The work will start as soon as I have the time available to donate.

Over the past year, the same hand full of members have been the only people to show up and help with monthly building maintenance work. I would like to ask all of our members to lend a hand, for a few work parties a year, when they are scheduled. The more help we have at the club, the less time any of us have to spend working!

Our joint meetings continue to be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. This is an open meeting for all members. If you want a voice in planning, this is the meeting to attend.

Our District meeting will be held at Port St John Aerie, June 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Please attend to keep us in rotation and support your Aerie.

Until next month, stop by the Aerie and let our volunteers know you appreciate their service and hard work as much as I appreciate it!

See you at the Eagles!

We will also need an Aerie Auditor for the upcoming year, along with the usual array of Chairmen. If you are interested in one of these positions, speak with me.

It is the time of the year to hold our installation party for all the new Aerie and Auxiliary Officers that will take office in the 2010/2011 Eagle year.                                                                                    FEBRUARY MESSAGE

Brothers,

Welcome to February. Spring is just around the corner - well - maybe!

Our Anniversary Party is fast approaching. It will be held February 6th starting about 5:00pm. More details are posted on the big board and on the posters around the Aerie. This is the only time all year that State Aerie and Auxiliary Officers have the opportunity to interact with our membership as a whole in our Aerie Home. It is always a great party and a great time to be enjoyed by all.

By the time of the party, the new roof will be on the building, the parking lot lighting will be complete and the outside of the building will be painted. All this work was required to stop the deterioration of the building. We have accomplished a lot of improvements over the last few months to help make our Aerie home a safe, enjoyable place to visit. Stop by and see all the work that has been accomplished.

We are also discussing other projects to be completed over the next few months. These include the remodel of the entrance hallway to match the new lobby and new rest room vanities.

Our joint meetings continue to be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. This is an open meeting for all members. If you want a voice in planning, this is the meeting to attend.

Our District meeting will be held at our Aerie, February 7, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Please attend to keep us in rotation and support your home Aerie.

                                                                                   JANUARY MESSAGE

Brothers,

Welcome to our first online only newsletter! As I mentioned last month, this is a tremendous savings for the Aerie. I hope you enjoy it and check often for updates.

As I’m sure most of you realize, we only have two handicapped parking spaces at the club. If you are not using a walker or wheelchair to get around, !!PLEASE!! leave these two spots for our Brothers and Sisters who do need that assistance.

Our Anniversary Party is fast approaching. It will be held February 6th starting about 5:00 pm. More details will be posted on the big board as we know more of the evening events. This is the only time all year that State Aerie and Auxiliary Officers have the opportunity to interact with our membership as a whole in our Aerie Home. It is always a great party and a great time to be enjoyed by all.

We are in the process of replacing the Aerie roof with commencement shortly after the first of the year. This is a large project with a final cost projected to be over $21,000.00. If you would like to donate to this project, please do so, by sending a check to the Aerie marked “ROOF” in the memo section. Every little bit will help make your Aerie home water tight again.

We are also discussing other projects for January and February. These include the remodel of the entrance hallway to match the new lobby, rest room vanities and the painting of the outside of the building to stop the deterioration of the metal siding.

Our joint meetings continue to be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. This is an open meeting for all members. If you want a voice in planning, this is the meeting to attend.

Our District meeting will be held at the Merritt Island Aerie, January 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Please attend to keep us in rotation and support your home Aerie.

Until next month, stop by the Aerie and let our volunteers know you appreciate their service and hard work!

                                                                                  DECEMBER MESSAGE

Brothers,

November 11, 2009 the Fraternal Order of Eagles lost a great member and a good friend to me. Van Flannery passed away after a hard fought battle. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Lynn Flannery has asked that anyone wishing to make a memorial donation, in Van’s name, should do so to the Jimmy Durante Children’s Fund through the Aerie.

I would like to welcome Mark Wolford as our new Aerie Secretary. Mark stepped up when we needed him to fill out the term. You may remember Mark served in this position in the 1990’s and I’m sure will do a great job again.

We are in the process of bidding out replacement/repair of the Aerie roof. This is a large, costly project as you can well expect. Through donations and fund raising efforts, we have acquired a respectable amount in the building fund but this is not enough to cover the estimated cost. If you would like to donate to this project, please do so, by sending a check to the Aerie marked “ROOF” in the memo section. Every little bit will help make your Aerie home water tight again.

Last month I thanked everyone that helped with the lobby remodeling project with the exception of one very important person, Jered. He helped Chappy and I with the demo, framing and drywall installation. I cannot thank him enough for all his efforts. I am truly sorry I omitted him from the last newsletter.

Nancy Scott and Dick Osada, are continuing the Wednesday night dinners to benefit the Christmas and New Years Eve parties this year. There are only three weeks left to have one of these great meals, so stop by and support one of our most popular Eagle parties!

Our joint meetings continue to be held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. This is an open meeting for all members. If you want a voice in planning, this is the meeting to attend.

Our District meeting will be held at the Cocoa Aerie, December 6, 2009, at 1:00 pm. Please attend to keep us in rotation and support your home Aerie.

Due to the rising cost associated with producing and mailing the newsletter each month, approximately $2400.00 per year, the Aerie has opted to have it only online at www.foe3581.com. We will have a few copies at the club for those without a computer. It will be in a far smaller file version than in the past so downloading will be much faster. Please remember this will be the last land mailed newsletter you will receive.

Until next month, stop by the Aerie and let our volunteers know you appreciate their service and hard work!

See you at the Eagles!

                                                          JUNE MESSAGE

Brothers,

It has been an excellent year for the Aerie thanks to all the efforts of our Officers, Chairmen and members during the past year. I could never thank you enough for everything you have done to make my term as Worthy President a very enjoyable experience.

Elections were held May 5, 2009. We had a good turnout. I want to thank everyone for their vote of confidence, by giving me another year to serve our Aerie members as Worthy President. I will do my best to live up to your expectations.

The party for our Aerie and Auxiliary Officers’ Installation Ceremony was held on Saturday, May 23, 2009. What a great time we had. Nancy Scott, our new Madame President, and her volunteers did a wonderful job with the planning, dinner and ceremony. I would also like to thank all the Installation Officers for their part in the ceremony. It was enjoyed by all.

Our joint meetings will remain the same this year, being held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm.

Our District meeting will be held in Cocoa at 1:00 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2009. Plan to attend so we can maintain our place in the rotation.

I look forward to another year as your Worthy President.

Until next month, stay happy and stop by the Aerie often!

                                                                      FRATERNAL YEAR (2008-2009)

                                                                                          MAY MESSAGE

Brothers,

Nominations for the 2009/2010 year officers were held at our last meeting in April. The only office with two candidates running, is the office of Worthy President. Bubbas Schutte and I are the candidates. Voting for that office will be held by secret ballot, May 5, 2009, from 1:00pm until 7:00pm at the Aerie. This is the only instance when your vote can count without attending a meeting. Please take a few minutes out of your day, that Tuesday, to stop by the Aerie and vote for your candidate so your voice can be heard. The Aerie meeting, announcing the results, will follow the close of balloting.

The party for our Aerie and Auxiliary Officers’ Installation Ceremony will be held, Saturday, May 23, 2009, starting at 5:00pm. Please plan to attend this event to welcome all our new officers and thank our retiring officers for all their efforts throughout the past year.

The new TV is up and running. Thank you to every member who donated to the TV Fund over the past few months. A big thank you to Judy for all her efforts bringing it together and Dave, for helping me with the installation.

I have come to realize, many of our members do not completely understand how funds raised for a charity come back to our community. When the charity event is complete, we send the proceeds to the Grand Aerie. They, in turn, filter this money back to the State Aerie for our grant programs. I strongly, encourage every charity chairperson to find a local, non-profit, research or care facility (must be a 501-C) to list as the recipient of the grant for that charity. Our Grants’ Chairperson then files the paperwork with the State Aerie for review. The State Aerie will decide the amount we will be awarded for that organization.

There are two VERY important parts to remember. If we do not file for the grant, the money will be dispersed to other Aeries and our community suffers. The amount we can ask for and received is based on the previous Eagle year amount raised and the amount left in the grant program for that charity at the time of filing. This is why it is so important to file early in the Eagle year and to have every charity chairperson file for a grant.

Please remember, raising money for a charity is not a competition between charities or the committee people. It is to help the people in our community. Whether you raise $500.00 or $5,000.00, it is all appreciated equally.

Remember our joint meeting the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm.

Our District meeting will be held in Palm Bay at 1:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2009. Plan to attend so we can maintain our place in the rotation.

Until next month, stay happy and stop by the Aerie often!

See you at the Eagles!

                                                                                          APRIL MESSAGE

Brothers,

We have postponed the building painting until April. The date will be announced at the first Aerie meeting of the month and the joint meeting. Please attend the meetings or check the big board for the new date and donate a few hours of your time to help the work party complete the job.

The President’s Lottery (50/50), to benefit the building fund, is doing very well and growing each week. The tickets are $.25 each, available from the bartender, and you can buy as many as you’d like. The drawing is every Saturday evening at 7:00pm. Remember to write your name and phone number on the back of the ticket.

Our District meeting will be held in Merritt Island at 1:00 pm, Sunday, April 5, 2009. Plan to attend so we can maintain our place in the rotation.

We are still in need of a new Auditor. If you would like to help us finish out the year as Auditor, please contact me. It is a position that must be filled but only requires an hour for one more audit report.

The second Aerie meeting of April will be the nomination meeting for new officers. If you plan to run for an office, you must be present at the meeting or file a letter with the Aerie Secretary stating your intentions to accept a nomination if so nominated. The elections will be before or during the first Aerie meeting of May, depending on the number of nominees for each office.

Until next month, stay happy and stop by the Aerie often!

See you at the Eagles!

                                                   MARCH MESSAGE

Brothers,

It’s almost spring out there so we will be painting the outside of the building on Saturday, March 21, starting at 8:30 am. Please donate a few hours of your time to help the work party complete the job.

We have started a weekly President’s Lottery (50/50) to benefit the building fund. The tickets will be $.25 each, available from the bartender, and you can buy as many as you’d like. The drawing will be Saturday evening at 7:00pm. Remember to write your name and phone number on the back of the ticket.

The joint meetings, starting at 6:00pm preceding the first Auxiliary meeting of each month, are going very well. Please join us to stay informed.

Our District meeting will be held in Titusville at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2009. This is your home Aerie and we want to make a good showing of members.  Plan to attend.

We are still in need of a new Auditor. If you would like to help us finish out the year as Auditor, please contact me. It is a position that must be filled but only requires an hour or two a month.

E-Board and our Aerie’s Thirty-Fifth Anniversary Party was a great success. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Thank you all for supporting the event.

      Until next month, stay warm!

See you at the Eagles!

                                                                                 DECEMBER MESSAGE

Brothers,

To all the members who helped with the social room renovations – THANK YOU!!

We will have a work party on December 6, 2008 starting at 8:00am. This will be held to clean up the club inside and out and finish the balance of the ceiling along with a few minor maintenance items. We would like to finish all this before the holiday parties start. If you can donate a few hours to the club that Saturday morning, your efforts will be appreciated.

If you haven’t made it in on a Wednesday night to play 3 Ball, stop by. We have a lot of fun and you don’t have to shoot too well to win! I’m living proof. We start at 6:30pm but you can join in anytime. Nancy Scott and Dick Osada have been cooking every Wednesday as well. If you don’t want to play pool, at least stop by for the food. It is great!

We will have a joint meeting starting at 6:00pm proceeding the first Auxiliary meeting of each month. This meeting time will remain consistent through next May.

Music is strong for December so check the calendar for dates and times of all that is happening during the month. I seems we are having a party all the time.

Until next year, have a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!!

See you at the Eagles!

                                                                              NOVEMBER  MESSAGE

Brothers,

I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped with the removal of the bar soffit and lighting. The improvement to the social room is far better than anyone expected. By the time you read this we hope to have the new lights and ceiling tile installed as well. If you haven’t been to the Eagles to see the changes, stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

The outside of the building is getting better all the time. Scotty has removed all the gutter around the building – a huge thanks to him for all his work! The next projects outside will be painting the building, cleanup around the grounds and sorting out everything in the sheds. More to follow.

Our Jimmy Durante’s Children’s Fund Vegas Night was held on the 18th. What a great night for everyone. Lynn and Van Flannery along with all their volunteers did an excellent job and raised more than $1000.00!

                                                                                    OCTOBER MESSAGE

My Brothers:

We made it through another hot Florida summer! Fall is coming fast as is the return of our Snow Bird Eagles – is that redundant…. Let’s welcome them back with open arms.

An Aerie "Town Hall" meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 19th at 1:00pm. The meeting is open to all Aerie and Auxiliary members to discuss any matter of interest to you, our Brothers and Sisters. Let us know what we are doing right or wrong and what you would like to see happen over the coming months. All members, please plan to attend this meeting, we need the input of everyone.

Starting October 1, 2008, at 6:30pm, we will have a WINNER TAKE ALL, Wednesday Night 3 Ball Pool Tournament. Play one round or stay all night.

Our Halloween Party is scheduled for Saturday, November , 2008. Costume contest, 50/50 and music. The club will supply the hotdogs and buns. We ask that everyone bring a dish to share. A food signup sheet is posted in the Social Room next to the big board. We still need a Chairman and volunteers to help with the evenings events. If you would like to Chair this event or volunteer to help contact me at the club as soon as possible.

We’re going to, again, cover a lot of ground in the meetings this month. The first meeting this month, will also include the initiation of several new members. I look forward to seeing you all there to welcome our new Brothers.

I’m sure you have noticed by now, that the outside of the building has been cleaned. Thank you to everyone who turned out with equipment and manpower to get the job done!

Our next big project is a work party to remove the bar soffit and installation of new lighting around the bar. The work party is scheduled for Sunday, October 12th at 8:00am. Please come out and give us a hand with the job. The more help, the faster it will be finished.

Worthy Inside Guard, Bubba Schutte, has volunteered his time to recover the pool table. If you would like to help him, feel free to contact him for a date and time.

Remember, dues were due by August 31, 2008. If you know a member that has not paid, (maybe even you) remind them to do so as soon as possible and always be on the lookout for new members. Active Firefighters, Police and Military Police can now join the Eagles free for the first year – let’s bring them in!

Our Worthy Conductor, Mel Clark, will begin a membership drive in November at TitusNights. The event is held in downtown Titusville, the first Friday of each month. He could use our help to man the table and spread the Eagle word.

We’re on a roll – let’s keep it going!

Meet me at the Eagles!

                                                                                         SEPTEMBER MESSAGE

My Brothers,

We made it through Fay with a lot of water but no major damage to the club. Let’s hope that’s it for the year!

An Aerie Officers’ and Chairmen's meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 6:30 pm. This meeting will follow up on the last planning meeting and discuss other matters concerning the club over the next few months. All Officers and Chairmen, please plan to attend. We will try to keep it brief!

We’re going to cover a lot of ground in the meetings this month since we lost a meeting last month due to Fay. The first meeting this month, will also include the initiation of several new members. I look forward to seeing you all there and welcome your input.

A few of the topics that will be discussed are: By-Law and House Rule Changes. Replacing the cook shack to bring it up to code. Renovations to the lobby for a more inviting, first impression for prospective members. Low cost, upgrades to the interior of the buffet and social rooms to create a more pleasing environment. Pressure washing the outside of the building. Special events for membership enhancement. The list goes on…

Please remember, any Aerie member may enter the Aerie meeting or leave the Aerie meeting, anytime during the business session. Although I hope you will stay, you are not obligated to attend the entire meeting. We meet to hear the voice of the members in order to build a better Aerie home for all.

As you know, one of my goals this year is to provide our members with a comfortable, inviting Aerie Home where you will want to bring your friends, and hopefully, a few new members. I want it to be an enjoyable experience for all who enter our doors. I strongly feel the changes we will discuss will help bring in old and new members alike. We have a great group of people at the Aerie. Let’s see if we can’t bring in many more!

Meet me at the Eagles!

                                                                                                        AUGUST MESSAGE

My Brothers,

Welcome to another hot, steamy August in Florida. Come to the Eagles, get out of the heat, and enjoy a cool drink with good company.

We’re going to cover a lot of ground in the meetings this month. I look forward to seeing you all there and welcome your input.

A few of the topics that will be discussed are: By-Law and House Rule Changes. Eliminating our drink chips and replacing them with drink tickets which will expire weekly. Replacing the cook shack to bring it up to code. Renovations to the lobby for a more inviting, first impression for prospective members. Low cost, upgrades to the interior of the buffet and social rooms to create a more pleasing environment. Pressure washing the outside of the building. Revised bar manager’s contract. Requesting a charity donation from all the card players. Special events for membership enhancement. Inviting Bright Futures Scholarship participants from local High Schools to volunteer at charity and fund raisers. The list goes on…

Please remember, any Aerie member may enter the Aerie meeting or leave the Aerie meeting, anytime during the business session. Although I hope you will stay, you are not obligated to attend the entire meeting.

One of my goals this year is to provide our members with a comfortable, inviting Aerie Home where you will want to bring your friends, and hopefully, a few new members. I want it to be an enjoyable experience for all who enter our doors.

With that in mind, I would like to thank the Trustees for their efforts during the bid process and installation of the seven new smoke eaters. The change is overwhelming! Another Thank You to the Ladies of the Auxiliary for donating half the cost of the units. One more Thank You to one of our newest members, Thom Miller, for his donation to purchase two of the four new Officers’ Stations. The upgrade is outstanding and your generosity is much appreciated!

Avoid the heat – meet me at the Eagles!

                                                                                                                 JULY MESSAGE

Brothers & Sisters

I would like to thank everyone that attended the Installation Ceremony and dinner. Your support of the new Officers of the Aerie and Auxiliary means a great deal to all of us. A big THANK YOU goes to Dick Osada and his volunteers. They did an excellent job of preparing and serving a wonderful prime rib dinner! Another big THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the Installation Ceremony and made it a meaningful occasion for all. This night was a good reminder of how well the Aerie and Auxiliary works together at our Aerie!

I would like to thank all the Auxiliary Officers and members for your help and support on a day-to-day basis. You are there helping whenever you are needed. I would also like to thank you for your willingness to help, financially, with the building improvements we will be working toward, together, in the next several weeks. To all the ladies of the Auxiliary for everything you do – THANK YOU!!!!!

We still have a few committee positions open for special events. They are the Halloween Party, Kids Christmas Party, Adult Christmas Party, New Years Eve Party, and our Anniversary Party. If you would like to Chair any of these events, or help with any of our Charities and other fund raising efforts, please contact Sandy our Madame President or me.

Remember to check the calendar in this newsletter or the big board at the club for a few changes that were made due to the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Don’t miss the party on the Fourth starting at noon!

                                                                        JUNE MESSAGE

Brothers & Sisters

It is my great pleasure to serve as your Worthy President for the next year. My first order of business is to thank all the outgoing officers for their dedication and service to our Aerie. They all made the changes we have seen over the past year possible.

Marvin Cook remained Worthy President when we were in hard times. Very few people would have accepted that challenge, let alone have the ability to bring us back to where we are today.

Van Flannery took over as Worthy Secretary. After untold hours of dedicated work, our records are up-to-date and up to anyone’s scrutiny.

Bill Riddle stepped in as Treasurer, and so many other behind the scene positions, I can’t remember them all. I do know every time I had a question, he was there to help me with the wisdom of his 60 years as an Eagle!

Snuffy Smith - Junior Past Worthy President, Nick Solegub – Worthy Chaplin, and Mike Coe – Worthy Conductor, all came in to help keep the Aerie and the meetings running as they should. The Aerie could ask any of them for anything and they were there with a helping hand. All did a great job!

Our outgoing Board of Trustees – Cash Register, Larry Redmon, Hank Adams, Jim Matthews, and Wendell Wilkins - were a great asset to the club. I am sorry we are losing the members that have stepped down. They turned the Aerie into a proper,  fiscally viable, business enterprise through sheer determination. I know much of what they have instituted will be carried on through the incoming Board of Trustees.

All of our Officers and Members have had a part in making this the Aerie it has become in the past year. Our Charity Committees have done an outstanding job, bringing many new ideas with them to each Charity event. Charity begins at home and that is exactly what everyone working toward the Building Fund and TV Fund have shown us this year. Our dinner volunteers donate so many hours every month, month-in and month-out that it is impossible to thank them enough for all the hard work. They are there week after week, giving it their all. Never forget our bartenders and manager who are there for us everyday. Where would we be without them!!

To all that have helped – THANK YOU!!!!!!!

We have fine group of incoming Officers this year. Some new to the positions and some that have served year after year. I want to thank all who are stepping up to help make this an Eagle’s Aerie where we will all be proud to be a member.  Please attend the Installation Dinner, May 31, 2008 at 5:00 pm to welcome them and show your support for all who are helping us.

A few of the Charity Chairs are still open along with Aerie  Auditor, two Trustees and Inside Guard positions. Anyone interested in becoming part of this GREAT, NEW TEAM, can talk to me anytime.

One final thought. I know we are all guilty of discussing things around the Social Room. We are a close knit family of Fraternal Brothers and Sisters. Families talk – it’s the way problems are solved. What I am asking is very simple…. If you see a problem, let’s not just complain about it, let’s solve it and bring that solution to the meeting. Problems can be many and the solutions, often, few. The more people we have working on the solution, the quicker the problem will be solved. I want every member to feel free to talk with me at anytime with anything you have to say.

You can email me at Worthy President@bellsouth.net or phone my cell at  772-559-1379. Of course, you can always talk to me at the Aerie or call me there at 267-2430 most evenings. Working together, for the good of the Aerie, WILL get the job done!

This is going to be a GREAT Eagle year!

In Brotherhood,

John P. Kaufman  President
